Share the Army Birthday Love!

Jun 13, 2018, 06:08 AM

Whether you serve, have served, or know someone who serves, our Army family is all connected through pride and patriotism for our nation. In honor of the US Army's 243rd birthday tomorrow, June 14, they're asking you to help them celebrate!

Army supporters are invited to create a shout-out video telling the world how much the U.S. Army and our country's Soldiers mean to you.

Simply post the video on your social media page (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or YouTube) and use the hashtag: #ArmyBDay with your post. They're also asking that you encourage others to create and post their own videos. If you're lucky, the Army will share your video on their platforms during the evening of June 14.

How to create your shout-out video:

  • Select social media platform of choice
  • Shoot selfie-style video
  • Tell us what the Army means to you or
  • Recognize someone you know in the Army
  • Encourage your friends to make their own video
  • Wish the Army a Happy birthday
  • Post video using #ArmyBDay
Don't forget to mention your service member in training at Fort Leonard Wood! They may just be starting their military careers, but their choice to serve is an important and honorable one that definitely deserves a birthday shout out!
